Les Amoureuses („die Verliebten“) sind ein Berliner Duo, das sich dem französischen Chanson verschrieben hat. Die Sängerin und Gitarristin Judith Antkowiak trifft auf Ernestine Luise, eine Berlinerin, die ihre Kindheit und Jugend in Frankreich verbracht hat und während der Ausbildung zur Klavierstimmerin ihre Liebe zum Akkordeon entdeckte. Gemeinsam interpretieren sie französische Klassiker wie „La vie en rose“ und „Accordéon“ sowie jüngere Chansons von Françoise Hardy u. a. Mit Wärme, Humor und poetischer Tiefe lassen sie bewegende Geschichten lebendig werden und schenken dem Publikum inspirierende Konzertmomente.

Les Amoureuses (“the Lovers”) are a new Berlin-based duo devoted with heart and soul to the rich world of French chanson.
Singer and guitarist Judith Antkowiak, who grew up in a musical family in Dresden and also performs as a solo artist, joins forces with Ernestine Luise, a Berlin-born singer who spent her childhood and youth in France and discovered her love for the accordion during her training as a piano tuner.
Together they interpret French classics such as the romantic “La vie en rose”, the gritty “Accordéon”, as well as more recent chansons like “Le premier bonheur du jour” by Françoise Hardy.
Sometimes they take turns singing, at other times Judith’s warm alto voice and Ernestine’s bright soprano blend in gentle embrace – enriched by sensitive guitar playing and the vibrant colors of the accordion.
Heartfelt humor meets poetical and emotional depth when they perform live. Their music brings moving stories to life, touches the heart, and offers an inspiring concert experience – not only for declared lovers of French culture.
